Tarjolla on tasokasta argentiinalaisen tangon opetusta, kesän parhaat milongat ja mukavaa yhdessäoloa. Iltaohjelmassa on runsaasti tanssia ja muuta illanviettoa. Petäys tarjoaa perinteiseen tapaan myös ihanteellisen ympäristön ulkoiluun, jos energiaa vielä tangotuntien lisäksi riittää.

Paikka: Tangoleirin opetus ja muu ohjelma ovat Petäyksessä, n. 20 km Hämeenlinnasta pohjoiseen. Petäyksessä tarjolla on majoitusvaihtoehtoja yhden (64 euroa/yö) hengen huoneista lattiamajoitukseen (12 euroa/yö). Lisää yöpymismahdollisuuksia on tarjolla Lepaalla. Kun ilmoittaudut saat tarkemmat tiedot kaikista eri majoitusmahdollisuuksista, ruokailuista ja muista käytännön asioista.
Ryhmät: Jokaisella ryhmällä on n. 12 tuntia opetusta ja sen lisäksi yhteisiä tunteja. Voit osallistua myös kahdelle peräkkäiselle tasolle. Lisäksi on mahdollista ottaa yksityistunteja opettajien aikataulujen mukaan. Leiri alkaa to 23.7. ilmoittautumisella klo 16.30 ja jatkuu sunnuntai-iltaan 26.7. klo 18 saakka.
Leirillä on viisi eri ryhmää:
taso 1 alkeiskurssi, ennakkotietoja ei edellytä, voit käyttää myös perusasioiden kertaamiseen.
taso 2 osaat ochot ja perusgirot, olet tanssinut yli vuoden.
taso 3 hallitset girot ja oman tasapainosi, pystyt tulkitsemaan musiikkia ja käyttämään koristeita rikkomatta tanssia. Tanssit aktiivisesti vähintään pari kertaa viikossa.
taso 4 olet varma viejän tai seuraajan roolissasi, pystyt pitämään tasapainosi, improvisoimaan vapaasti ja ymmärtämään parisi askeleet, haluat parantaa tyyliäsi, tekniikkaa ja tarkkuutta sekä tutkia eri mahdollisuuksia. Tanssit/harjoittelet aktiivisesti vähintään pari kertaa viikossa.
taso 5 edellisten lisäksi hallitset myös parisi kanssa yhteisen tasapainon ja osaat viedä/seurata harvinaisempiakin nopeuden ja suunnan muutoksia.
Jos valssi tai milonga ovat sinulle uusia tai vaikeita, voit mennä niissä alempaan ryhmään. Jos mietit kahden tason välillä mene mieluummin helpompaan ryhmään. Jos olet ollut leirillä aikaisemminkin, ota huomioon että kaikki muutkin ovat tanssineet vuoden viime kesän jälkeen, joten älä automaattisesti mene seuraavaan ryhmään – kaikki ryhmät ovat viime vuotista haastavampia.
Hinnat: Leirin hinta on 1-tasolle 130, 2-tasoille 150, 3-5-tasoille 170 euroa, kaksi tasoa 1 + 2 tasot 220 euroa, 2+3 240 euroa, 3+4 ja 4+5 tasot 260 euroa. Osallistujamäärä on rajallinen. Leirille voi tulla myös lyhemmäksi aikaa, mikäli ryhmissä on tilaa, mutta etusija on koko leirille osallistuvilla. Osallistuminen edellyttää Amigos del Tangon jäsenyyttä, mikäli et ole vielä jäsen, kysy lisätietoja ilmoittautuessasi (jäsenmaksu 20 euroa/vuosi).
Ilmoittautumiset varsinainen ilmoittautumisaika loppui 28.6., mutta leirille mahtuu vielä - jos olet tulossa ilmoittaudu, jälki-ilmoittautuneet saavat tiedot 7.7.. Leirille otetaan tasaparit – voit ilmoittautua ilman paria, mutta ilmoittautumisesi varmistuu vasta, kun sinulle on löytynyt pari. Huom! Lauantaina 25.7. milonga alkaen klo 22. Elävästä musiikista vastaa Tanguarda Hollannista ja leirin opettajat esiintyvät. Milongaan voit tulla, vaikka et osallistuisikaan leirille. Muille kuin leiriläisille pääsymaksu on 15 euroa. Liput ovat myynnissä ovella.
23.-26.7. Tangofestival in Petäys - Info in English
The Amigos del Tango Festival offers workshops in Argentine tango, milongas (Saturday with live orchestra and tango show), practicas and a relaxed get together of tango dancers in the the middle of the Finnish summer. We have workshops for beginners as well as for experienced milongueros. <!--break-->Petäys is a about 1,5 hours ride north from Helsinki, accessible by car, by bus or even by a boat.
The Amigos del Tango summer festival is becoming a tradition: this year will be the eight one; with around 140 participants from all over Finland and even some foreign participants it is the biggest annual argentine tango event in Finland.
The festival offers you *12 hours of workshops in your own level with experienced teachers * small groups which enable you to get answers to your questions and personal feed back * milonga every evening, saturday night with live music and tango show * sauna *concert *lots of possibilities to dance * the surrounding nature offers excellent possibilities for swimming and hiking for those who have extra energy

Workshops
Each level has 12 hours of workshops in their own level and in addition to that some workshops together with other levels. You may also take part in two levels. The camp starts 23.7. at 17 with enrolments and finishes 26.7. at 18. According to the teachers´ schedules you can ask for private lessons as well. There is also a practica room available.
Groups
There will be five grops:
level 1 beginners, no prior experience needed, you can also use the level to refresh the basics.
level 2 you know salidas, ochos and basic giros, you have danced for about a year.
level 3 you master giros and your own balance, you are able to interprete music and use adornments without breaking your dance, you dance regularly twice a week.
level 4 you are sure in your role as a leader/follower, you can keep your balance, improvise freely and you understand the moves of your partner, you want to improve your style and technique and explore different possibilities, you dance regularly at least twice a week.
level 5 master class, you control the balance of the couple, you can lead and follow untypical changes of tempo and directions.
Prices
The price of level 1 is 130 euros, level 2 150 euros and levels 3-5 170 euros. Combination of two levels 1+2 220 euros, 2+3 240 euros, 3+4 and 4+5 260 euros. Participation requires the membership in Amigos del Tango. Annual membership fee is 20 euros. If you are not a member yet please ask more details when you register.
We have a limited number of participants. You can come to the camp for a shorter time, only if there is room. If you take part in two levels you will have about 30 hours of teaching and the longest days will have nine hours of workshops.
Location
The camp takes place in Petäys in Tyrväntö (www.petays.fi), which is 20 kilometers north from Hämeenlinna about 1,5 hour ride from Helsinki. Accommodation possibilities from floor (bring your own mattress and sleeping back with!) (12 euros/night) to single rooms (64 euros/night). You receive detailed info about the accommodation, food, payments etc. when you register.
Orchestra Tanguarda
We have a concert on Friday and there will be a musicality lecture and the orchestra plays in the milonga on Saturday.
Registrations
There is still places left. You will get an answer to your registration after 7.7. We take even couples in the groups. You can register without a partner but your registration is confirmed only when we find a partner for you. Registrations preferably by mail to the address ilmoittaudu [at] tango [dot] fi (please give the name(s) of the participant(s), level you take part in and your phone number in the message) or by phone +358- 40 445 8259.
25.7. Milonga - the big summer tango ball
You can come to the Saturday night milonga even if you do not participate in the camp. Milonga starts at 22. For non-participants the entrance costs 15 euros. Teachers´performances and live music by Orchestra Tanguarda.
