Processing of personal data at Amigos del Tango Ry
Member register

The Associations Act obliges an association to keep a membership register, in which the member's full name and place of residence are recorded. In addition, information that is necessary for the association's operations (e.g. contact information) may be recorded in the register.
The name, address, email address and telephone number have been recorded in the AdT membership register until April 2018. This information already recorded in the register will be kept as long as the person remains in the register. The person's information will be transferred to the membership register archive at the end of the calendar year if they have not paid their membership fee for two years. The person's information will be deleted from the membership register and its archive if the person requests the deletion of the information in writing and announces that they are renouncing their membership.
From April 2018, the name, address and email address of new members will be recorded in the register. If a member who joined the association before this date wants his/her address and telephone number removed from the register, he/she must notify the association in writing to jasen@tango.fi
The member register is accessible to the member register administrator, treasurer, board members and the operations inspector.
Becoming a Member

The association's membership application can be found online at www.tango.fi/yhdistys/liity

The membership application includes your full name, place of residence and email address. The information is mandatory.

The information stored on the online membership form is sent by email to the member register manager and treasurer. Other board members can also view the information.

Membership forms are deleted when the person has been accepted as a member and the information has been entered in the member register.

Membership invoices, including payment and personal information, are stored in the association's cloud service and/or in paper accounting materials for 6 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.
Key Card Deposit Fee

The key card register contains the member's name and telephone number, which is needed for the exchange of information regarding button data uploads. The register consists of paper forms on which the handover and return of the button are recorded and confirmed by the signature of the button recipient or the person receiving the button return.

The key card register is accessible to board members and the treasurer.
Registration for AdT's events and other association events

The registration form (e.g. Dance reservations) asks for name, address, telephone number and email address.

This event-specific information is processed by the organizers of the event in question.

Those registering for classes are required to be members of AdT. For the purpose of checking membership, the organizers of the event are provided with a list of names from the membership register, which shows the names of members who have paid the membership fee.

In individual events (e.g. milongas), where participation is paid on site, the names of the participants are collected from the participant list. These are kept in the accounting documents for 6 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.

The participant list can be seen by the organizers of the event and other participants in the event, as well as the cashier and treasurer.

Personal data required for salary/remuneration payment, contracts and travel documents (including name, address, nationality, date of birth, tax number, Finnish social security number)

The necessary information is provided in person or by email to the event organizer or directly to the treasurer at maksut@tango.fi
