Double role training camp with Mikael and Saana 6.–8.2.

Welcome to an intensive weekend of training both roles of Argentine tango! Our instructors will be Mikael Dexlöv (Göteborg, SE) and Saana Kalliokoski (Tampere, FI).

Participation requires solid basic skills as both a leader and a follower. At the workshops we'll actively change both roles and couples.

We'll concentrate on the basic elements of Argentine tango: musicality and moving together in abrazo. We'll practice a lot of close-embrace dancing and use simple step patterns that are easy to dance in a milonga. The focus is in the quality of the dance – without forgetting that dancing should also be lots of fun! In addition, we'll pay special attention to the role of the follower in the smooth flow of the couple's internal co-operation.

The course is organised by STEP Education and Amigos del Tango's Double role group.
