On Monday evenings in July we practice both dance roles at the Töölönlahti outdoor stage. The events are queer and beginner friendly.

Our association's bigger annual event, Tango Frostbite Festival, will likely be organised again 25–28 February 2027.

We still need a few helping hands for AdT's traditional Summer Tango Camp in Espoo 7–9 August – join the team!

In their June meeting the AdT board decided to start planning Helsinki Milonga Weekend for the end of November, as before, with a slightly renewed concept.

AdT's Summer Tango Camp in Espoo 7–9 August will again offer a beginner's course taught by Ari Sirén and Seita Keloluoto. The double role group will be taught by Malin Backström (SE), assisted by Saana Kalliokoski.

You still have time to find a partner and catch the early bird price for AdT's Summer Tango Camp in Solvalla, Espoo 7–9 August.

There will be outdoor practilongas, organised by AdT's volunteers, at Töölönlahti Summer Park event stage on Tuesday evenings: tango and alternative music on alternating weeks.

Registration for the Double role training camp at STEP Järvenpää on 10–12 July is open until mid-June. The teachers will be experienced German double role dancers Andrea Ehses and Sandra Hoyer.

The association's regular spring meeting is held in the start of Milonga del Jueves and members who attend the meeting will have free admission to the milonga.

Come spend a long May Day weekend with live tango music at El Ático! In addition to four long evening milongas, there will be workshops by Nadia Tapia & Fernando Waisberg on Saturday and a practica guided by Saana Kalliokoski on Sunday.

This year the improver, intermediate and advanced level groups at AdT's traditional Summer Camp 7–9 August in Solvalla, Espoo, will be taught by Maria and Pasi Laurén, Luis Rojas and Meeri Friman and Daniel Valenzuela and Anaïs Virenque.

El Ático's weekly milongas' Facebook events will be discontinued starting in April 2026.

The next board meeting will be held on Monday, April 27th at 18 at El Ático.

Many tango dancers are highly sensitive to fragrances, so please don't use any scented products (aftershave, perfumes, fragranced hairsprays, hair mousse, deodorants etc.) when coming to El Ático. 

Photography and videography has increased at El Ático's milongas and some dancers have found it sometimes disturbing.

HelaTango is a warm-hearted four-day-long tango camp, organised by Tango aMoroso association.

In March, AdT organises workshops for members at El Ático with the guest teacher Viacheslav (Slava) Ivanov.

On Saturday, March 7th, we will celebrate the wonderfully successful Tango Frostbite 2026 festival with a volunteer party – the event could not have been organized without their hard work.

The new website has its own sections for the association's milongas, classes, practicas and larger events, as well as a tango calendar covering all of Finland.
