About the event
Let's try out a new way of dancing in a relaxed way, for a change! Because the weather looks rainy for the evening, we'll dance indoors at El Ático, our tango association's studio in East Pasila.
Argentine tango, vals and milonga will be played from a ready-made playlist, in three song tandas. In between of tandas there's always one song of some other music style, and that one you may dance either as tango or as some other dance style – whatever feels best. Or you may have a pause, chat with friends or find a new partner for the next tanda. 😄
So join us and dance & practice both dance roles or the role of your preference – although we do recommend trying out the other role as well, even though it may be your first time! The event serves also as an aftermath party for AdT's Summer Tango Camp double role group course.
If you want, you may bring drinks, snacks and/or something to share with others. This is fully voluntary!
Location: El Ático Helsinki, Kumpulantie 1, East Pasila. There's a phone number on the door, just call there (the call will not be answered) and the door will open.
Participation costs the daily practice fee 6 €, with MobilePay or bank transfer. Payment instructions at site!
The stage is outdoors under the open sky and not completely clean, so it's wise to take your slightly worse dancing shoes. You may also dance with any shoes that are comfortable and have a slippery sole – low heels or flat shoes work well when practicing both dance roles.
Please bring a friend too!
