Welcome to get familiar with Argentine tango without dance role being connected to gender or identity. Everyone dances both roles! WEATHER PERMITTING: if it rains, the event is cancelled.

About the event
* 18–19.30 beginners' practica: we'll get to know the very basics of Argentine tango. You don’t need any previous experience or an own partner. We'll change both dance partners and roles.
* 19.30–21.30 open role lab: we'll continue the evening practicing and dancing, and you may still ask the more experienced dancers for advice and help. All tango dancers are welcome to practice both dance roles or the role of their preference – although we do recommend trying out the other role as well, even though it was the very first time! :)
Argentine tango, vals and milonga is played from a ready-made playlist.
Bring your own water bottle! Right next to the stage there is a public toilet.

The stage is outdoors under the open sky and not completely clean, so it's wise to take your slightly worse dancing shoes. You may also dance with any shoes that are comfortable and have a slippery sole – low heels or flat shoes work well when practicing both dance roles.
Free of charge! Please bring a friend too.
The event will be organised on three Mondays in June: 8.6., 15.6. ja 29.6., weather permitting.
